a THIRD!
This week I'm gonna write down a list of things I've learned in these past 6 months, stay tuned!!
Today we made empanadas and played games in the church for Anziano Calvagna's birthday. it was so fun!
This week we helped our gelateria investigator Federica take across Rome to "Little Ethiopia" a huge duffle bag full of stuff to be sent home; the signs for restaurants and stores were written in Amharic with their crazy awesome alphabet. After that we went with her to her second of three jobs, where she cleans a fancy office in the middle of rich centro Roma. She wouldn't let us help, so Sorella Cano and I took a "The Office"-inspired photo shoot. It was just a proof of how great Sorella Cano and I get along, we have the exact same sense of humor and we're always making each other laugh so hard, despite the language barrier!

I'm loving the opportunity to really learn Italian, plus bring back Spanish! Sorella Cano is always so encouraging and I really think that I've been able to improve my fluency by miles, even though my accent is still embarassingly American. Sometimes I do get tired and wish I could just speak English!
This keyboard is really terrible and it used up all my time, so that's all I have time for this week! Loving the mission, loving my life, and loving all of you dear people back home!!
